Sunset sodalite is a blend of traditional sodalite which is a feldspathoid (it contains less sillica than feldspar) and an orange feldspar (sunstone) which has formed due to its higher silica content. The sunstone has essentially replaced the white veining normally present in sodalite.
It is used to stimulate the crown chakra and pineal gland and to help connect to source energy, where creative ideas flow with ease. On a physical level, it is said to be good for the nervous system, the stomach and digestion.
