This piece Includes a selenite slab with a white quartz bear, often holding a green quartz fish in its mouth, and one or two smaller bears. Please expect variations of colour and form in these natural materials.

The Kermode Bear or Spirit Bear lives in the rain forests of central British Columbia. Because of their ghost-like appearance, Spirit Bears hold a prominent place in Canadian First Nation's mythology. These handmade gifts make a unique souvenir item for both men and women.

Selenite is named after the Greek word for moon, contrary to popular belief, it contains no significant selenium. Satin Spar selenite is a form of fibrous and crystallized gypsum. Other varieties include alabaster, selenite, desert rose and gypsum flower, gypsum rock, ram horn and sand gypsum. It is common to refer to satin spar as selenite.
