Scapolite is a rare aluminum silicate mineral that typically forms in metamorphic rocks. It occurs in a range of colors including golden yellow, violet, gray, and even colorless. The name scapolite is derived from the Greek skapos, meaning "shaft," in reference to its elongated prismatic crystal form.

Transparent varieties are sometimes cut as gemstones, while others are collected for their unique coloration and structure.

Polished scapolite specimens highlight the natural luster and internal clarity of the stone. Some may show fibrous inclusions or subtle cat’s eye effects when viewed under direct light. These specimens are shaped to reveal the soft glow and depth of color within each stone, ranging from pale lilac to warm honey hues.

Scapolite is believed to assist with clarity of thought, breaking through emotional blocks, and encouraging forward movement. It is a stone said to support self-discipline, resilience, and the realization of goals, making it ideal for those pursuing personal transformation or decisive change.
