A beautifully hand carved new jade (serpentine) bear, often holding a fish, sits atop sparkling amethyst crystal. Assembled in Canada by our in-house artisan.

Lemon serpentine, sometimes referred to as new jade, is a hydrous magnesium silicate. It varies in colour from pale yellow to yellow-green with spots or veins of black. This is a good stone for meditation and is said to be valuable in opening psychic abilities. It is also believed to have cleansing and detoxifying properties. It is a useful stone for healers as it helps direct healing energy to where it is needed.

Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz crystal composed of silicon dioxide with traces of iron.

As a healing stone it is said to be helpful in ridding nightmares. Also helpful to calm an overworked and over stressed mind. It is thought to dispel negativity and create a peaceful environment.

Bears are known for everything from being cuddly and playful to stoic and strong. In the spirit kingdom the bear is emblematic of grounding forces and strength. All in all, the bear is a magnificent creature to be respected.
