These smooth, highly polished semi-precious stones are formed into a sculptural shape to allow the beauty of the stone to be revealed.

Jasper is an opaque, impure variety of silica in the form of chalcedony or microcrystalline chert. Generally it forms near volcanic activity and the circulation of hot water is thought to be required for its formation. This orbicular jasper is rhyolitic with a high silica content. Quartz and feldspar have crystallized into radial clusters.

Ocean jasper has a soothing and nurturing effect and is great for emotional release. It protects against negativity and helps one to be grounded to the stabilizing energies of the earth.
